To extend your peripheral eyesight even further, you can then place both of one’s fingers out in front of you. Then slowly bring your hands out to either side and discover the location at which you’ll not see your hands. At this point, just wiggle your fingers so you can just see them in your left and right field of vision. This is actually the extent of your horizontal peripheral vision For many individuals they’ll get about a 180 degree field of peripheral eyesight to their left and right.
Then you will most likely discover with your intuition that just after a while your attention will usually fade from this internal sensation and that you will usually be drawn to another inner sensation. Simply visit this feeling and be with it. Follow the inner sensations throughout your body. Similar to a dance of feeling inside your system. Heading off from one place to another.
So if ever you feel your current life is not in alignment with the guiding power and not flowing, make an effort to drop in and hear your heart. For the heart is in continuous alignment with the guiding power. Continuously providing you phrases of wisdom and support. It is just a choice you make of listening to the delicate voice within your heart and going with it’s knowledge to get back into the aligned movement of life once more.
When that location in the wilderness arrives to mind, I then make an effort to visualize it in my mind’s eye. For example, I make an effort to see the trees. To take a look at the rocks. To become conscious of the branches around the earth. The streams. The moss. The lichen. I spend time in my mind’s eye literally going for a stroll about this location I feel drawn to.
With relaxation just start becoming conscious in the various sounds inside the body. Of the inner sounds. Spend a while spending time using the internal sounds inside your body.
It was as though during this meditation I was everyone within the grocery store and feeling what they had been feeling. And understanding why they had been experiencing what it had been they were experiencing. Like my sense of self had dissolved and my perception of ‘I’ had expanded to be every thing.
And what I’ve now discovered is the fact that this peak spiritual experience of becoming connected and at 1 with everything is usually there. Even when I feel a perception of stress and tension, I know that underlying these feelings the perception of oneness and link with all objects within nature is usually there. Just waiting around to tap into again.
Nevertheless I usually felt there was not a sense of inner peace within. Like there was elsewhere to go. A perception of ‘this isn’t it’. Perhaps you can relate? So I tried to work even harder up the ladder. Purchased the things I assumed would be ‘it’. The large display Television. Lived in the good apartment beside the beach. The nightclubs. The events. I’m certain you realize the all familiar story. Totally immersed in the hustle and bustle of the city life and caught within the rat race.
Long before modern civilization people went on a vision quest and spoke directly with the wilderness. They spoke straight to the rocks. They spoke directly with the trees. The rivers. And also the oceans.
On the heart walk you’ll get to feel the perception of your organic rhythm. Of your natural tempo. You’ll also get to feel a sense of relaxation and the pull of the power and to experience what it’s like to be guided by this power. To go along with this power. To align yourself with this particular power and go with the delicate pull inside.
