Trier is a city located on the banks of the Moselle, in the country of Germany. It is the oldest city in Germany. The belief is that an Assyrian prince, named Trebeta, founded the area before or during 16 BC. Historically, it was known by English speakers as Treves. The city is also considered the oldest seat, north of the Alps, of a Christian bishop.
The more regularly in comparison with 2000 years of age community of Trier is located in Rhineland-Palatinate and its 108 000 inhabitants spread over a location of 117 rectangle kms. Trier’s bishop and a university town and, alongside a full college as well as a polytechnic institution along with the Eu Academy of Excellent Arts along with the University of Eurozone Regulation.
